This new direction

I scrapped my old thesis... it was daunting so late in the game. But I stepped up my game. These go along with the previous post that look similar.
Again, it is a homage to the people and things filling the void in my heart since my mother died. The Holga and light leaks represent the unpredictability in life, in that you plan on getting one thing but the journey takes you somewhere completely different. Eventually you end up with something completely different that what you had intended, something completely unique, and beautiful in its own right.

An Irishman in a Dutch world...

This is just some editorial work I did when I was an "official photographer" for Artprize. There are more somewhere I might post. I am trying to show that I am versed in what I do with photo.

Those creeping creepers

This is some preliminary thesis work that I shot last night. I need to re-shoot again when Matt's beard grows back in a bit. It was a cold night but fun.

From a mess to the masses

I scanned these negatives about a week ago from my trip to Portland from the end of the summer. I fell in love with that city. These are a small part of a whole continuing series I am shooting about the things that are keeping me going after my mom died. It is a homage to these things and to her. She was the best.
I am really happy with how these turned out.

creepy creepers creeping pt. II

Ok, so I just went to the bathroom and thought "you know,  I should probably give a better example of what I did yesterday" So here is a little bit more.
The fact that I take pictures like these is probably the reason I can't get girls to like me.

Oh well, work first. Tripods>Ipods

creepy creepers creeping

I shot all day for thesis yesterday both the pictures you see on the wall and this picture. I got a handful of good ones.
I'll be posting more random thesis work however not explain any sort of continuity.
You'll just have to come to the show to understand it.

Mad thanks to Victoria Marcetti for helping make this thing look good. And for that bitchin banner.

I am always miss-spelling "calender"

So we had to shoot images for this calender for this print company to show off how good they look. The night shot got in the calender. These pictures aren't my usual style of work but I feel they are worthy nonetheless.

Portrait work from the past few years

Catching up to now

I am in my 4th year of college at Kendall. I am currently in my thesis class. I have been trying to keep it under wraps as I have plots unfolding and until things are finalized I don't really want things getting out. So since I actually want work up the first few posts will be previous work leading up to today.
